Have you ever wondered what the sixth graders think of our school? Well, we decided to interview some of our very own sixth graders to see what they think about Lansing Middle School.

How do you like the school year so far?

Tyler Seifert- Yes

Wyatt Grindle- It’s good

Paisley Crow- It’s good. Also more assignments than fifth grade.

Jj Jensen- It’s pretty good

Brady Seber- Good

Jenykah Henry- Good

What is your opinion on not being able to play sports?

Tyler Seifert- I actually do play sports but not for the school. It doesn’t matter.

Wyatt Grindle- I’m okay with it. There are pros and cons. Pros, people get to know how to play sports. Cons, we don’t get to play.

Paisley Crow- I don’t find it fair because 7th and 8th grade are allowed to play sports.

Jj Jenson- I don’t really care for some sports but for sports I like I kind of care because I really want to play them.

Brady seber- I think 6th graders should be allowed to play sports

Jenykah Henry- I don’t really care

Do you think that we should have to pay for costumes?

Tyler Seifert- No

Wyatt Grindle- No

Paisley Crow- No

Jj Jenson- Yes and no, Yes because it helps out our school, no because in the other grades we didn’t have to pay.

Do you like the 6th grade teachers?

Tyler Seifert- Yes

Do you like the exploratories that the school offers?

Tyler Seifert- Yes

Do you have any ideas of things that the school can improve on?

Tyler Seifert- No.

Wyatt Grindle- Water fountain water and the food.

Paisley Crow- Not that I can think of.

Jj Jensen- I don’t think so.

Brady Seber- Elementary and they got water bottles instead of fountains. The water fountains taste like rust.
